About

I’m a Leeds-based freelance photographer specialising in playful, character-driven portraiture for major broadcasters, brands and publishers. I create striking promotional imagery, from key art and book covers to press and marketing photography, designed to make people buy, watch or get involved.

I’m comfortable working to any level of direction: following a tight brief, pitching and developing ideas, or taking full creative control. I enjoy the practical, hands-on side of shoots, including planning, building sets and props, sourcing and problem-solving. Because I edit most of my own work, I always shoot with post in mind to ensure a smooth and efficient process from concept to delivery.

Alongside commissioned work, I develop personal projects that blend emotion with a dry sense of humour, often through comedic self-portraits and satirical takes on everyday absurdities. One of my more serious projects, Grief is the Price We Pay for Love, explored themes of loss and solitude and received Honourable Mentions at the 2023 PX3 and IPA Awards.

My work has also been recognised internationally, including features in Lürzer’s Archive 200 Best Ad Photographers Worldwide.
